For the past few months, we’ve been getting requests for an Art of Manliness iPhone app. Well, your wish is our command.
Presenting the Art of Manliness iPhone app.

With the Art of Manliness iPhone app you can:
1) Read the latest posts from the Art of Manliness
2) Check AoM’s Twitter updates
3) Listen to AoM podcasts
4) Watch manly videos from the Art of Manliness
5) Increase your manliness and add hair to your chest on the go
And guess what? It’s completely free!
Download the Art of Manliness iPhone app right now! (will open iTunes)
We hope you enjoy the app! Hopefully, we’ll have an app out for Android users soon.

This is great! Funny how I was just checking AofM on my iPhone.
Hey Brett and Kate, this is pretty sweet. I hope you do an Android app in the future, as that is what I (and many others) have.
Thanks,
Steve
Love the app. I’ve always found it cumbersome to browse through the site on my iPhone and this makes things much easier. Any plans on updating it to include access to older articles?
Great stuff! The AppStore here I come!
Although I enjoy the concept of an app, I would hope that it does not divert your attention away from articles in any way.
This website gives me hope. I reference it to many people, and it has in many ways become a strong guide to honest and honerable living. Please, keep up your wonderful work.
an iphone app is nice, but dont forget Android, give Android some love too!
Can you PLEASE create a Palm Pre app?! All iPhone apps are easy to port to webOS with the Palm PDK… I implore you to look into this… PLEASE!?
Android? Hive five, anyone? Anyone? ;-)
Please! Bring to Android! Exclamation Points!
Plus, everyone knows iPhone users are a bunch of pansies. Android Users are mostly men and most of them are manly. There was actually a survey showing this

Brett:
Just when I thought this day couldn’t get any awesomer!! Then I find out it’s free!!
You rock, Brett and Kate McKay! And this just one reason why.
Yeah, an Android app would be really cool.
Android app please!
Allow me to add my voice to the call for an Android application. I am a dedicated user of the Motorola Droid and I would love to have the Art of Manliness application for my phone.
Droid was actually even advertised as a manlier phone than the iPhone. Not that that has anything to do with anything, but I hope to see an Android AoM app soon.
Thank you! I created my own app in the while waiting for an official one.
An Android app please!
what is it called? I can not find it anywhere
Yes, I would love to have this app on my Droid!
If you need an app for manliness, you’re not a real man. I’m just saying.
If you have Dustin’s lack of a sense of humor, you’re not a real man. Just saying.
Looking forward to the android release for my Droid as well…
This is one of my ‘must-visit’ sites each day; I really appreciate all the work you put into this!
Hi Guys,
Thanks for your effort. I own a droid so waiting for an awesome AOM Android app.
This app looks great, any chance for a BlackBerry app? Perhaps in a couple years my programming will be good enough to code it myself.
Yes, we need an Adroid app.
I am very thankful for this fine app. I would, however, like to suggest either an addition to this app or a seperate one that would allow you to have a virtual pocketbook with Benjamin Franklin’s virtues in which you could mark your progress in the way Franklin himself did.
Why an iPhone/Palm/Droid application? Why not just have a website with articles pulled from the main site but stripped of most of the network intensive graphics, etc.? One site available to all devices.
Downloading in three… two…
Cant wait to the download is a availble for my droid
Hopefully I’ll be able to get this for my Palm Pre soon :)
Android would be great.
While I commend the idea of expanding the availability of AoM, I think that the AoM app on the iPhone, Android and other phone carriers deviates somewhat from the idea that this site attempts to project. I find reading the articles on this site a means of escape from the modern world. It helps to center my thoughts and evaluate my days efforts, allowing me to share the ideas with my son and discuss with others the information. With the innovation of the app I think that it is just feeding the beast of secular society and pulling men further from their manliness! Do we really need another site to check or update to follow, simplicity seems to allow you to enjoy the world around you and not just hussle through life with your noise glued to a device.
Please,
I need this on my G3 (android)!!!
How about updating this for iPad as well?
Please don’t forget the Blackberry while you’re developing things… or is there already one that I missed?
Thanks – love the site!
