Facial hair is generally frowned upon and even a beard isn't very common (tho I have seen some pretty amazing Japanese beards in my time here). Nevertheless, my Japanese wife is rather taken by the idea of MOvember, so she's encouraged me to grow one. Some things may come up that would require I shave, so I'll only informally enter the event. But I'm with you guys!
