The wisdom of that is so needed today. Though I have no evidence that wisdom Only comes through pain, accepting the truth of my being wrong has been some of the most painful and strengthening of passages in my life.

I found much that shaped my life in the Meditations of Marcus Aurelius as well as in the many novels of Louis L”Amour.

I like what Carlyle says about the inevitible mistakes of growing and moving forward… tho the Tai Chi practioner in me doesn’t agree that walking should be falling… lol…
