Once again, it’s time for the weekly roundup, in which I share interesting links that I found while surfing the web this week.
50 Nifty Tricks for Big DIY Savings [2](@ this old house) In this tough economy, the little things can add up to big savings. The folks at This Old House have put together a list of 50 easy tricks that can save you money around the house.
Beardhead.com [3]Beard Head knit beard caps combine the comfort and warmth of a traditional knit cap with the amazing styling of having a massive beard and mustache growing on your face. Of course, you could grow a real beard [4]. That will keep your face warm, too.
Authenticity [5] (@ seth godin) Great article by master marketer Seth Godin on the importance of being authentic in all aspects of your life. Best line from the article: “Authenticity, for me, is doing what you promise, not ‘being who you are.’” (Hat tip to Tyler Hayes)
Code Name Insight [6] According to their byline, Code Name Insight is “The site for adventurers, travelers, mercenaries, fed-types, pseudo fed-types, survivalists, military, techies, researchers….” If you’re remotely interested in wilderness survival or emergency preparedness, you’ll be sucked into this site and spend hours scouring all the resource links.
