“Frail” does refer to a woman. This list is merely from his hepster’s dictionary 1942 edition. There was a lot before it. Then again I’m no icky and I’ve got my boots on. Me and my friends can collar that jive because the dicty dames and killer-diller cats i cut rugs with don’t got there glasses on. But it’s time to climb under them dreamers since I’m beat for my doss.

I noticed ‘frail’ isn’t explained… doesn’t that refer to a female in many of the era’s tunes?
