Once you wear your mask long enough, it WILL become your true face. The true dilemna is picking the right mask so you do not become something you will regret later.

I have a tiny folding buck knife with a 1.5 inch locking blade. It weighs probably an ounce and I carry it around everywhere, which is great in the summer when I'm just walking around the house in shorts. It also only cost about 7 dollars at the local outdoor store.

Today I was at my college orientation and when we got our class selection books, they were all tied together like a bunch of newspapers. After one person struggled with her car keys to saw it for a few minutes I just said what the hell and took out my knife. I don't like to advertise it with the political climate, especially in my state, but you'd be surprised how many times your the only person in a room full of people that can open something. It kinda gives you a feeling of satisfaction.

I don't carry the older knives I was given by my grandfather since I don't want to lose them (falling out of pockets or being taken at airports, etc.). I have a Buck pen knife that I now carry with me since my Old Timer fell out of my pocket a few years ago. When I go camping or something outdoors, I will have my Swiss Army or Leathermen with me.

Case and Old Timer are my favorite knife brands.

I bought a 5 inch made in pakistan folding knife 30 years ago. For 1 dollar at a dollar store. it is still a great slim knife. a bit intimidating, though. I carry one I bought at tractor supply co., fat sharp blade, 'proline'. But tonight I found an old multi purpose, 3 1/2 incg, 2 blades, one bottle opener, one can opener. Old and rusty, that black scaled handle like I had in the early 60s, in some old tools I inherited. I 3-in-1 oiled it. Trying to read the co. name on the blade. I think it says "Ideal", in cursive script, says under it USA. It's going boating with me tomorrow.
